Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
General information and a starting policy template, not legal advice. These policies should be reviewed by a qualified attorney.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Bratt Boy Detailing handles information through this website and related booking, inquiry, and customer communications. Our customer office is in Brattleboro, Vermont, and our detailing shop is in Hinsdale, New Hampshire. Contact details for privacy questions and requests are below.
2. Information you provide
We collect the details you submit when booking or contacting us, including your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, requested services, scheduling preferences, pickup address when applicable, and messages. Fleet and dealership inquiries may include a business name, vehicle count, service frequency, and inventory volume. Please do not submit payment-card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information through our contact forms.
3. How we use your information
We use these details to answer inquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and provide services, manage appointments and payments, send confirmations and reminders, handle service concerns, maintain business records, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Appointment data is stored in our booking system, and contact-form submissions are delivered to our business email.
4. Payments and service providers
Online deposit payments are handled by Stripe; the website does not ask you to enter full card details into our contact forms. Stripe handles payment credentials through its checkout, and our booking records contain transaction references and payment status. We also use hosting and database services, Google/Gmail for email delivery, and Twilio for appointment texts. These providers process information needed to provide their services and may also have their own privacy policies.
5. Analytics, cookies, and advertising tools
The website uses analytics to understand visits and interactions such as service-page views, button clicks, form starts, and successful inquiries. Custom interaction events are designed not to include the contents of your form fields. The site also includes the Meta Pixel, which can send page-view, device, browser, IP-address, cookie, and similar online activity information to Meta for measurement and advertising-related purposes. Hosting and payment providers may use their own cookies or logs, and administrative sign-in uses session technology. External fonts and embedded or linked third-party services may receive connection information when loaded. Do not assume that all browsing activity is anonymous.
6. Your choices about tracking
You can control or delete cookies through your browser, use browser tracking protections, and manage ad preferences through Meta and other providers. Blocking third-party tools may affect some site features. Publishing this policy does not by itself provide a cookie-consent or opt-out mechanism, and we do not represent that this site automatically responds to every browser privacy signal. Where applicable law provides additional consent, opt-out, or other privacy rights, contact us to make a request.
7. Information sharing
We share information as necessary with providers supporting payments, hosting, communications, and analytics, and when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect customers, our business, or the website. We do not provide your inquiry or booking contact details to unrelated businesses for their own marketing. Advertising-related disclosures through tracking tools may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some privacy laws; your rights depend on the law that applies to you.
8. Text and email communications
We use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate about services. Appointment texts may include confirmations and reminders; frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of automated text messages, or call or email us for help or communication preferences. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment. Mobile contact information is used for customer communications and delivery providers, not shared with unrelated businesses for their marketing.
9. Retention and security
We retain information for the time reasonably needed to handle inquiries, provide services, maintain payment and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Retention varies by record type; there is no single fixed deletion period for all records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security.
10. Privacy requests and children
Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or privacy choices relating to your information. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request, and legal recordkeeping or other exceptions may limit deletion. Additional rights may apply based on where you live. Our website and services are intended for adults arranging vehicle detailing, not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
11. Third-party sites and policy updates
Links to payment services, Google reviews, social media, and other third-party sites are subject to those providers' policies. We may update this policy to reflect changes in services or practices; the updated version and date will appear on this page. Contact us with questions before submitting information if you are unsure how it will be used.
